Franco Bastianelli was an Italian designer known for his work in enamel. He founded Studio Laurana and was recognized in 1982 with an honorary degree in economics from Francesco Petrarca University in Los Angeles for his research on enamels. His sculpture "Maternità" was sold to an American multinational corporation in 2001.
