Every object has a story, and the Clockarium brings those stories to life.

This unique museum in Brussels houses over 4000 faience clocks, in various styles including the iconic art deco. Passionately collected by Jacques de Selliers, they reveal both the evolution of design and the memory of craftsmanship.

Did you know that in the small village of Wasmuel, two Belgian faience factories were already producing these now-iconic clocks? As his collection grew, Jacques even had to move in order to create this one-of-a-kind museum in Europe.

In this video, he shares his journey and invites us into a world where art deco meets the history of objects.

Keen to discover this extraordinary collection? The museum is open every second Sunday of the month, with a guided tour at 3:05 pm.
