Max Le Verrier, sculpture ‘La Clarté' (Clarity).
A standing woman holding a glass ball in her outstretched arms, which can be lit up like a lamp.
The design dates back to the 1920s and is entitled ‘La Clarté'. This is a later edition from the 1970s, 85 cm high, made from the original mould from the 1920s.
This large 85 cm edition has become particularly rare, while the smaller 64 cm editions are sometimes still available for sale. They are collected by many enthusiasts and are therefore difficult to find.
This is an original edition from the Max le Verrier factory, signed.
The statue rests on a black marble base with three steps.
