This vase is decorated with vine branches in mordant tones. Camille Tharaud 1878-1956 was a world-famous porcelain maker renowned for his grand feu decorations, creating the first hand-decorations on Limoges porcelain raw enamel. The shape of the vase is by the painter Henri Rapin 1873-1939, who distinguished himself at the 1925 Paris International Art Deco Exhibition.
