Designed by Romain GEVAERT (1875-1931).

Romain Gevaert (Tilleur, 1875 - Jemeppe-sur-Meuse, 1931).
Jeanne Tixhon (Liège, 1875 - Jemeppe, 1955).
An engineer by training, Romain Gevaert was hired by Val Saint Lambert in 1897 and became manager of the Jemeppe division in 1900. After the First World War, he launched a range of Art Nouveau products in collaboration with his wife, Jeanne Tixhon. After studying art, the latter taught decorative arts at the école Moyenne Professionnelle de la Ville de Liège. She specialized in painting on ceramics and was also interested in working with leather, fabrics and metals.
