Art Deco vase attributed to Joseph Simon for Val Saint Lambert.
An imposing, heavy piece, signed with the pastille (see photo).
The geometric decoration, typical of the Art Deco style, highlights the transparency of the crystal and the quality of the cutting.
This model is representative of Belgian production from the period, combining rigorous lines and technical mastery.
This vase has a few chips on the edges of the neck and foot (see details in the photos). It could be corrected by a glass restorer, but we prefer to sell it as is at a reduced price.
Joseph Simon collaborated with figures such as René Delvenne, and contributed to the stylistic revival of the manufacture between the 1920s and 1940s.
