A student of Willem Delsaux, Roger Guérin learned to wheel at two potteries in Châtelet. From 1918 to 1951, he set up various companies producing stoneware for art and architecture, while also teaching at the Institut Supérieur des Arts Décoratifs de la Cambre in Brussels. He collaborated with many Belgian and foreign artists and took part in a large number of exhibitions.
