A colourless crystal vase with a cut decoration of stylised leaves, made in the 1940s.
It evokes the Viennese style of the Wiener Werkstätte (Dagobert Peche) of 1900-1910.
This thick, heavy glassware (3.5 kg) is both highly refined and modern.
The artist and manufacturer remain unidentified to this day, although the origin appears to be Danish, with a possible Czechoslovakian provenance.
