Christian BRASSEUR (1940-) :

Christian BRASSEUR painting representing a bouquet of flowers. Oil on canvas of 80x66 cm, it is titled on the back by the artist "the bright bouquet in the old chair". Born in 1940, originally from Corbion (Bouillon), he is part of the Vresse-sur-Semois school (as e.g. Albert Raty and Marie Howet with whom he was friends). He exhibited for the first time in the salons of "La Glycine" in 1983. He has also participated in overall exhibitions in Namur, Dinant, Vresse, Vielsam, Arlon, Libramont and Sedan.
