Gold background with polychrome decoration, on the cup a medallion in the shape of a shield representing the portrait of the "KING OF ROME" (Son of NAPOLEON I), on a black background surrounded by a blue drape. On the cup and saucer diamond decoration on a gold background and rosette in the center of the saucer. Interior of the cup gilded.

Observation(s): VERY RARE DECORATION - It is rare to find porcelain representing the KING of ROME. In 1811 Napoleon I recreated the title of "King of Rome" and attributed it to his son NAPOLEON II (NAPOLEON François Charles Joseph Bonaparte born in 1811, and died in 1832. He was titled King of Rome at birth. He would hold this title until 1814.
