Individual container for drinking generally hot liquids. The cup has a rounded "comma" vertical side handle. It is cylindrical in shape with a flat base resting on a slight heel. Its matching saucer also has a flat base resting on a slight heel and a high, sloping rim. The "litron" cup was named by the Manufacture de Vincennes around 1752. This model was inspired by the choppe. Cups and saucers appeared in series from the early 18th century. HARD porcelain. White background with polychrome decoration of farm animals on a landscape background - Gold fillet borders.
