DONNA : a pair of French art deco wall sconces, 1930 France

Donna Paris A beautiful pair of 1925-1930 French art deco wall sconces in nickel on cast solid brass holding shades in clear frosted moulded-pressed glass both signed Donna Paris. The deco of the shades and mounts make a beautiful match.The sconces are in excellent condition. I have replated the fixtures. Les etablissements DONNA was a large lighting firm in Paris with four shops allover town and its factories in the parisian suburb Nogent sur Marne. They had several models shades especialy made for them signed Donna Paris. It is unknown which glass factory made this Donna signed glass. Probably Muller freres or EJG. Certain however is that they are of outstanding quality and beautiful design. The wall lights are 36,8 cm high (14-1/2) and 16,5 cm wide (6,5). They project 16 cm from the wall. The sconces are rewired with E14 sockets so you can use our modern light bulbs for them. I will add two good quality LED bulbs to the parcel. For the US Canada or Japan I will wire them with American candelabra base sockets. For European countries I will place E14 ones. The wall sconces will be shipped by priority mail.
