Set of twelve fine porcelain plates, with a rim embellished with 24-carat gold.
Each plate is decorated with an original scene of birds and plants, designed by Japanese artist Naoka Nobata for Franklin Mint circa 1979. Each represents a month of the year.
They are also painted with delicate floral motifs on the reverse, in keeping with the front, and signed.
The set comes with a certificate of authenticity.
