Individual container for drinking generally hot liquids. The cup has a rounded “comma“ vertical side handle. It is cylindrical in shape with a flat base resting on a slight heel. Its matching saucer also has a flat base resting on a slight heel and a high, sloping rim.

The “litron“ cup was named by the Manufacture de Vincennes around 1752. This model was inspired by the choppe. Cups and saucers appeared in series from the early 18th century.
White background. In the center of the cup, a polychrome reserve of sheep in a landscape, surrounded by a gold fillet. On the rim, a garland of palmettes and golden ears of corn. Gold fillet borders.

Mark(s): Brush-painted in bleu de grand feu (see photo).
Condition : PERFECT CONDITION - small wear scratches on the bottom of the cup.
