Biography:
Antonio Alberto Lampecco (Minucciano, 1932) is a Belgian ceramist known for his round spherical vases and small necks.
He moved with his family to Maredsous in 1949, where he acquired Belgian nationality, and later opened his own studio in Maredret (Namur, Belgium).
He has exhibited in the Netherlands and abroad in major cities such as Florence, Paris and Lisbon. His ceramic work has won gold medals.
Works in various collections (Maria Gomes, etc.) and museums (Andenne ceramics museum, etc.).

Since his death in 2019, his value has continued to rise. His works regularly go on sale at Christies, Sotheby's, Cornette de Saint Cyr... collectors beware!

Remaining in the same period, his work can be compared to that of artists such as Jacques and Dani Ruelland.
