Painter, aluchromist, assembly maker, stained glass window creator. Training at the Namur Academy. After the Second World War, he made study trips to Germany, France and Italy. Created aluchromic works and stained glass windows for around a hundred churches and buildings, in collaboration with architects Roger Bastin and Thierry Lanotte. Co-founder of the “Axe 59”, “Axe 66” and “Rez-de-terrain 28” Groups. Opt first for a post-impressionist style and regularly visit Yvonne Perin's studio. He then produced works that were both figurative and abstract and came close to a moment of pop art. From 1975, he found an important source of inspiration in the human body and, in the 1980s, his works appeared rather narrative. He creates all kinds of characters in a very synthetic style. Was a drawing teacher at Bellevue College in Dinant and at the Ecole Normale Sainte-Marie in Brussels. Works at the Walloon Art Museum in Liège.
