A very elegant Art Deco dressing table.
This Belgian work is attributed to Charles Van Beerleire, circa 1935.
It has been meticulously crafted in mahogany and bird's-eye maple. It is fitted with two magnificent double bronze handles serving four drawers in the waistband. The mirror alone is a fine piece of cabinetwork.
This piece of furniture has been completely restored and repolished with a buffer. It is complemented by an original glass shelf which does not need to be installed, but which protects the polished wooden shelf and enlarges its useful surface.
This piece of furniture can also be used as a console or desk. To do so, simply unscrew the mirror, which is cleverly attached to the back of the piece, and position it on the wall above the dressing table, which then becomes either an elegant desk or a refined console.
