Rare carved wooden sculpture, representing a winged angel's head, treated in high relief. This fragment most likely comes from an architectural element or religious woodwork (altarpiece, church decoration, convent ensemble).
The face, full and serene, presents an internalized expression typical of provincial French Baroque sculpture: half-closed eyelids, thin mouth, soft but deeply expressive modeling.
