Interesting wooden sculpture.
Sculptor born in Puurs in 1882.
Very active in Brussels, particularly in Schaerbeek, in the years leading up to the First World War.
He worked extensively with the architect René Doom, notably on the latter's personal house on avenue du Diamant no. 143.
For a time, his studio was located on rue Wiertz, in one of Brussels' artist districts.
This sculptor exhibited frequently in Antwerp and Brussels from 1920 to 1939.
He died, at an unknown date, during the Second World War.
