Sculpture specially commissioned for the famous Truffe Noir restaurant.
Printed in an edition of 50, this sculpture is numbered 1/50.
In 1964, she obtained a master's degree from the école des Beaux-Arts in Lausanne.
From 1964 to 1974, he made frequent trips to Paris and Tuscany.
In 1973 she had her first solo exhibition at the Galerie Pannelle 8 in Locarno, and took part in the Salon de Mai and the Salon de la Jeune Sculpture in Paris (and again in 1974), where he worked with the masters of the Ecole Française. From 1979 to 1985, she opened a studio in New York, where she played an active part in the city's artistic life. In 1983, she taught at the Banca C.N.D.I. in Upper Volta, Africa, on behalf of the architects François and Pierre Lombard.
His solo exhibitions include: Waldorf Astoria Hotel, New York (1974); Ruth Arden Gallery, New York (1979); Florence Art Gallery, Dallas, Texas (1980); Sasso Sculpture Studio, New York (1983); SPAS Gallery, Locarno (1984); Centre Culturel, Waterloo (1990).
He has also had numerous group exhibitions, including: "International Silver Exhibition", Mexico City (1973); American Centre for Students and Artists, Paris (1975); "Sculpture en plein air", Ascona (1975); "Exposition internationale de sculpture", Vira Gambarogno (1976); Florence Art Gallery, Dallas, Texas (1979); Musée cantonal, Lausanne (1981); Inberg Art Gallery, New York (1982); Museum of Modern Art, Queens, New York (1984); "Conférences de Bruxelles" (1990).
She won the 1st T.P.S.D. Prize of the Section Vaudoise (1964) and the 1st Sculpture Prize of the Monganel Foundation in Lausanne (1972). She has designed jewellery for Christian Dior and Pierre Cardin. His work can be found in major public and private collections in Switzerland, France, Italy and the United States.
Since 2003, she has been President of the Swiss Association of Friends of the New Library of Alexandria in Egypt.
