An easel painter, watercolorist, and draftsman as well as a portraitist, painter of nudes and landscapes, Marcel Delmotte is also a sculptor. He specializes in visionary landscapes and large symbolic frescoes.
He was a student of the painter Léon Van den Houten at the free workshop of the University of Labour in Charleroi.
