Colette Bitker, born in Paris in 1929
After studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, she worked as an illustrator: schoolbooks (Belin publishers), children's books (La Semaine de Suzette), etc. From 1953, she participated in group exhibitions in Paris. In 1956, she moved to Brussels, where she lived and worked.
GROUP EXHIBITIONS: Numerous participations in group exhibitions in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United States. Colette Bitker's works are held in the collections of the Belgian State, the Museums of Modern Art in Brussels and Liège, the collections of Banque Lambert and the National Bank of Belgium, and in numerous private collections in France, Belgium, the United States, Switzerland, Spain, and Italy.
