Hendrik (or Pierre Henri) van Perck was a pupil of Malines sculptor Jozef Willems and Borgerhout sculptor Thomas Vinçotte.
From 1900 to 1935, Pierre Henri van Perck was a professor at the Mechelen Academy of Fine Arts. One of his pupils was the sculptor and painter Jan de Smedt (1927-1929 ).
Van Perck lived on Rue Colonel Van Gele in Etterbeek from 1906 until his death.
In 1893, Hendrik van Perck took part in one of the exhibitions of the Sint Lukas Guild of Mechelen, along with 22 other participants from Mechelen.
