This is an elegant Art Deco period sideboard. This is a French work circa 1930. This modernist-style sideboard is upholstered in rosewood veneer. There are five drawers in the front, four of them small, and the fifth and largest, at the very bottom of the cabinet, is a so-called secret drawer. When fully closed, it disappears from view. The cabinet has been completely restored and buffed. The handles are made of polished chrome-plated solid brass. This is a practical piece of furniture that can easily find its place in a living room, bedroom or study. Its almost contemporary look means it can be combined with a wide range of interior decors.
