This chest of drawers is period and in the Art Deco style. It is a Belgian work of neoclassical inspiration circa 1935-1940. The exterior is made of sycamore maple, burr ash and oak. It has four drawers. All the drawers are fitted with stamped polished solid bronze handles. The workmanship is of the highest quality, both in terms of solidity and attention to detail. This piece of furniture has been in the same family since 1936. It is in a very good state of preservation, both cosmetically and functionally. It still has its original bevelled glass protecting the top of the chest of drawers. It has period varnish. This is a rare, high quality piece of furniture with a neat, original look that will easily find a place in your home.
