Ladislas de Monge, born in 1956 in Ohey (Belgium), is a Belgian designer and sculptor. Trained at La Cambre, he is developing an artistic approach he calls “organic architecture“, where form is born from the materials themselves. He is best known for the “Une Table ronde“ project presented at the Dakar Biennale in 2014, promoting dialogue between artists from the North and South. A great-nephew of engineer Louis de Monge, he pays tribute to him in the documentary Beyond the Blue.
