KATARZYNA NOWAK (born 1963) is a Polish sculptor. Graduated in 1989 from the studios of Professor Krystyna Cybinska and Wanda Golkowska, she studied at the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Ceramics is his favorite material, his works seem to have ancient origins inspired by Etruscan art. Katarzyna Nowak begins with figurative representations and then more synthetic, arrives at the moment when the object loses its original meaning to transform into a form that embodies beauty.
