Antique advertising tray - advertising sign for Michiels Belgian chocolate, which was located in Brussels, Belgium. This Art Nouveau lithographic metal plate was designed as a commemorative plaque - a memorial for the 75th anniversary of Belgian independence, depicting the retreat of the Dutch hussars ( 1830 - 1905 ). The attack on the park by the Flanders Gate volunteers. This antique tinplate is over 117 years old, and has survived two world wars! A unique piece for collectors of antique signs, collectible chocolates, Belgian heritage or historical memorabilia.
