Figurative painter of still lifes but especially of landscapes and rivers of the Meuse region. Trained at the Academy of Namur.
He also worked in LG Cambier's studio in Brussels. He exhibited with the Cercle «Le Progrès» in Namur between 1903 and 1939, at the «Salons Triennaux de Namur» in 1904, 1907 and 1910, at the «Quinzaine des Artistes Namurois» and at the Galerie «La Meuse» in Namur in 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, as well as at the «Treizième Exposition Collective de Ciney» in 1961.
