A fisherman on the banks of the Meuse with the Priory of Godinne in the background. Painter, draftsman. Training at the Academies of Namur and Brussels with Alfred Bastien and Frans Smeers. After having lived for some time in Brussels, he moved to Godinne in 1955. Predilection for Mosan landscapes but also painted portraits and still lifes - bouquets of flowers. Ample brush stroke, clear and luminous palette. In Godinne, he naturally finds his inspiration in the Meuse valley. Was a member of the circle L'Esquisse in Namur, he exhibited there in 1934 and 1937
