Figurative painter of still lifes but especially of landscapes and rivers of the mosan region. Training at the Academy of Namur.
Also worked in L.G.'s workshop. Change in Brussels. Exhibited with the Cercle "Le Progrès" in Namur between 1903 and 1939, during the "Salons Triennials de Namur" in 1904, 1907 and 1910, on the occasion of the "Quinzaine des Artistes Namurois" and at the "La Meuse" Gallery in Namur in 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, as well as during the "Treizième Exposition Collective de Ciney" in 1961.
