Monin Gate: Sambre Gate. Louis XIII style, monumental limestone gate commissioned from François Waneson by the magistrates of Namur. Framed by two Tuscan pilasters with slits, basket-handle portal, resting on projecting imposts. On the keystone, inscription: "CHARLE / DU / MONIN / BOURG / MRE / 1644 / JACQUE / MALEVE / SECOND / ESLEV". Above, architrave with profiled ends and decorated with drops, bare frieze struck by a console and triglyphs, under a profiled cornice. It is located at nr 107 Rue des Brasseurs
