DUPONT, Adolphe (II) (Namur, 1898 - 1982) Peintre, aquarelliste, graveur, illustrateur, sculpteur. Elève de D. Merny at the Collège Notre-Dame de la Paix in Namur. Also takes courses in engraving at Raoul de la Potte and sculpture at Désiré Hubin. Favourite for landscapes, portraits and floral compositions. Noticed for his sketches of animals made at the Antwerp Zoo. As a sculptor, he created a medallion with the image of Doctor Eugène Dupagne. Author of studies on the painters Henri Bles and Joachim Paternier. Illustrated Le Grand Gusse by Arthur Masson. Doctor by profession.
