Pierre de Vaucleroy was a Belgian painter, watercolourist, draughtsman and engraver who was born and died in Brussels. He trained with Constant Montald at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. He was a professor at the Académie de Louvain from 1925 to 1957. From 1926 to 1927 he lived in the Belgian Congo and from 1931 to 1933 in Morocco. He took part in numerous group exhibitions in Algiers, Stockholm, Rome and Paris. His work can be seen in several museums, including Reims, Ixelles, Brussels and Tervuren,
