Spanish school ‘The entrance to the circus', impressionist painting (oil on panel) depicting a clown, a dog, a dancer riding a horse, ca 1900.
It appears to be a scene of artists entering a circus and, on the back of the painting, another painting with a street scene, funfair, figures in the rain.
We have not been able to identify the artist, although the work is signed in the lower right-hand corner (see photo).
Well framed, the painting is in good condition.
