A rare set of "Tessuto" light fittings designed by Massimo Vignelli.
It is indeed exceptional to be able to combine the three sizes (135/155/175 cm) of these lamps, which also have travertine bases with cut-outs allowing the three fittings to be recessed as required to create an original ensemble.

Massimo Vignelli was born in Milan in 1931.
In 1949, he took part in the International Congress of European Architects of the time.
He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and the UAV University in Venice.
It was there that he met Paolo Venini, who suggested that he design blown-glass lamps.
He moved permanently to the United States in 1964 and made a name for himself worldwide in the fields of graphics, design and architecture, in the professional company of his wife Lella.
In 2003, the couple received the highly prestigious "Lifetime Achievement" award from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
He died in New York in 2014.
