This is a very rare complete example, in very good condition, of the Roseaux floor lamp designed by René Mathieu (1905-1969) for the French publishing house Lunel circa 1955.
The luminaire rests on a circular cast-iron base from which three arms of light rise, each with its original opaline cover concealing the light bulb.
Three independent switches control the light intensity.
It is fitted with new LED bayonet bulbs.
The floor lamp is made up of satin black lacquered metal, polished solid brass parts, white satin-finish opaline and its vintage red translucent Plexiglas flame.
It is perfectly functional and in magnificent original condition.
This is one of the most elegant and rare light fittings ever produced by Lunel.
