Large cork shade.
Very aesthetic and rare light, in perfect condition, electricity revised.
Measures 68cm in height without its shade.
Biography:
Adrian Pearsall was an Expressive Designer active in the 50s and 60s in the USA surpassing even Vladimir Kagan, his modernist and sexy "Atomic Age" style catches the eye and leaves no one indifferent. Graduated in Architectural Engineering in 1950, he then opened his furniture company in Pennsylvania 'Craft Associate' in 1952. He designed furniture (table, living room, sofa) but also many models of lighting (floor lamp, table lamp, chandelier, wall lamp) exceeding by its originality the style of Scandinavian Design in teak.
By the late 1950s, his walnut designs became extremely popular, making Pearsall a designer to be reckoned with. His flair, his modern approach make him one of the icons of American Design of the 1950s.
