This silkscreen print reminds me of the works of Tom Weisselman.
Painter, aluchromist, assemblage artist, and stained-glass artist. Trained at the Academy of Namur. After the Second World War, he undertook study trips to Germany, France, and Italy. He created aluchromic works and stained-glass windows for around one hundred churches and buildings, in collaboration with architects Roger Bastin and Thierry Lanotte. Co-founder of the "Axe 59," "Axe 66," and "Rez-de-chaussée 28" groups. Initially adopting a post-impressionist style, he regularly visited Yvonne Perin's studio. He subsequently produced both figurative and abstract works and for a time moved closer to pop art. From 1975 onward, he found significant inspiration in the human body, and in the 1980s, his works became more narrative. He created all sorts of figures in a highly synthetic style. He was a drawing teacher at the Bellevue College in Dinant and at the Sainte-Marie Normal School in Brussels. His works are in the Museum of Walloon Art in Liège. Mentioned in BAS I and in "Two Centuries of Artists' Signatures in Belgium." Bibl: Paul PIRON
