Royal Copenhagen, in almost 250 years, has produced over 1,500 designs on various high-end porcelain items. Its skilled craftsmen have been collaborating with designers since the 20th century. Each set, despite improvements in the process, takes several months to complete. The process begins with a 3D printer model, then a mold is made using a computerized milling machine to pour the liquid porcelain. Each piece is then meticulously hand-decorated, glazed and fired at nearly 1375°C, creating unique works of art.
