A half round desk attributed to French designer Andree Putman.
There are two columns below the tray with three drawers. In the middle of
the desktop there is a leather insert for writing. The type of wood is
ash wood from trees that were forced to grow not in height but in width
grow, hence the closely spaced grain in the wood. The desk
has been professionally restored.
