The Petitot workshops were founded in Paris in 1860 by Eugène Petitot, who began by producing standard chandeliers for public buildings. Under the direction of Henri Petitot (from 1914 to 1938), the company transformed into a specialist manufacturer of luxury modernist Art Deco lighting fixtures. Today, "Ateliers Henri Petitot" is synonymous with some of the most sought-after Art Deco lamps.
