HENRI FOURNET
A beautiful French 1925-1930 art deco chandelier in wrought iron and glass paste shades in mottled orange blue and creme by Charles Schneider. Henri Fournet had his company Le Fer Forgé H.F. in Lyon making bronze and wrought iron lighting fixtures. This elegant chandelier is represented as item #4667bis on page 10 of the Fournet catalogue #7 , March 1928.
The chandelier is in excellent condition. The forged iron shows a beautiful deep-brown patina. The glasses are all signed. No cracks or chips. The chandelier has a height of 100 cm (39-3/8) and a diameter of about 68 cm (26-3/4). The chandelier is newly wired with cotton covered twisted cord. One E27 socket for the bowl and three E14 ones for the side-shades. So you can use our modern light bulbs for it. For the US or Japan I will wire it with american standard and candelabra base sockets.
The chandelier can be shipped by priority mail. Safely packed in several parcels and fully insured. A pick up in Rotterdam is possible as well.
