Viarmé : French art deco pendant ... 1930 chandelier France

GEORGES VIARMÉ
A signed French art deco pendant in nickel plated bronze or solid brass. The nice bowl in moulded pressed glass representing hydrangeas is signed Viarmé . Georges Viarmé had his workshop and store in Paris (at 156 rue de la Roquette) during the 20s and 30s. He was specialized in producing bronze lighting fixtures. The bowl on this pendant is a very rare almost impossible to find model. It is unknown which French glass factory produced this model for Viarmé. Looking at its appearance it was most likely Muller freres. The lamp is in very good condition. I have renickeled and patinated the fixture. The shade has a diameter of 35 cm (13-3/4). And the chandelier has a drop of 40 cm (15-3/4). The fixture is rewired with a E27 socket. So you can use our normal light bulbs for it. I will add a good quality LED bulb to the parcel. For the USA or Japan I will place an american standard socket.
