A large 1930 French art deco chandelier in nickel plated bronze or solid brass holding six shades in clear frosted moulded-pressed glass by the Degué Cristalleries de Compiègne. All shades are signed Degué. The mounting is done in the typical more modernist style of the 30s like we know of Petitot Charles Ranc and many others. I could not trace back which lighting manufacturer made these mounts. I have a second version of this model listed : an uplight chandelier with six Hanots cups. The chandelier on offer is in excellent condition. It is 71,3 cm high (28) and 60,5cm (23,8 inches) wide. The heavy mounting is renickeled and patinated. It comes rewired with six American candelabra base sockets suitable for the USA Canada and Japan. For European countries and Australia I will place E14 ones and will add six good quality LED bulbs.
The chandelier can be shipped by priority mail. Safely packed in several parcels and fully insured. A pick up in Rotterdam is possible as well and obviously cheaper.
