Vienna chair ca. 1880 - 1900 . It is signed with stamp J&J Khon : Jacob Kohn (1791 - 1866) together with his son Josef Kohn (1814 - 1884) founded the firm i 1849.
Khon would later become one of the leading furniture makers in Austria and Hungary and direct competitors of the Thonet brothers.
