This is an art deco style and period coffee table or bout de canapé. This is a French model in the modernist style circa 1930. This piece of furniture is upholstered in a beautiful rosewood veneer on a solid oak frame. It has an undeniable practical aspect with its four retractable shelves that triple the useful surface area of its top. The shelves are also covered in rosewood and fitted with attractive solid silver bronze handles. This piece of furniture has been completely restored and repolished with a buffer. It is therefore in very good condition, with only the tiniest traces of wear. The modern aesthetic of this piece of furniture means that it will fit elegantly into many of today's interiors.
