This wrought iron piece of furniture, entitled Haut Perché, is a sculptural creation by Germaine, whose artistic vocabulary merges geometric abstraction and poetic evocations.

Crafted entirely from hammered wrought iron, the piece is distinguished by its slender lines and its extremely minimalist, almost ethereal base, which seems to make the cabinet levitate in space. The base features a bas-relief, composed of flat, mosaic-like metallic surfaces, in which two emblematic motifs from the artist's universe appear: a stylized, radiant sun, and a perched bird, reduced to its essential contours—a figure that is both primitive and symbolic. The patinated black surface, with its subtle nuances, reinforces the raw, mineral, almost architectural effect of the piece. The balance between the rigor of the structure and the poetry of the bas-relief creates a piece that is at once graphic, totemic, and profoundly contemporary. The interior includes a shelf, offering discreet and functional storage space without ever disrupting the overall purity.
