The Jansen company was founded in 1881 by Jean-Henri Jansen, a Dutch national. It became a general partnership in 1920, managed by Jansen, Schwartz, Vaudries, and Stéphane Boudin. Since its inception, the interior design firm has supplied a prestigious clientele, including the French government, various ministries, the British royal court, the Argentine presidency, several French and foreign embassies, the Bank of France, and numerous collectors.
