Biography JONATHAN DE CESARE.

Born into a world steeped in creativity, Jonathan De Cesare grew up with a mother who was a comic book colorist, who instilled in him a love of drawing and color at a very early age. A precocious artist, he held his first exhibition at the age of fifteen and won several drawing competitions as a child.

A painter and draftsman, he explores techniques with rare freedom: oil, pastel, watercolor, and even Bic pen. An official artist of the Royal Talens brand for eight years, he had the honor of exhibiting at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam on the occasion of the 350th anniversary of Rembrandt's death. He is now continuing his journey to become the official painter of the Belgian Navy, a step that perfectly resonates with his passion for the sea.

His work, inspired by classical art and Renaissance masters, ranges between realism and poetry. Fascinated by light and movement, he seeks to capture the intensity of the world in his seascapes and landscapes.

At the same time, Jonathan works as a legal cartoonist for the Belga agency, where he sensitively illustrates major Belgian trials, including the Brussels attacks.
